Booking and Cancellation Policy
Low Season Reservations:
Low Season: May 1 to June 29th and September 5th to October 31
A full advance payment/deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of the advance payment/deposit less 12%.
High Season Reservations:
High Season: June 30 to Sept 4th
A half advance payment/deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made at least 60 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of the advance payment/deposit less 12%.

We do not under any circumstances offer penalty free cancellations for inclement weather or canceled fishing trips.
All no-shows and reservations cut short will be charged in full.
During the months of May, June, September & October there is a two-night minimum weekend stay required.
During the months of July & August there is a two-night minimum stay required.
A three-night or four-night minimum stay is required for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and is at Peak Season Rates.
Above minimums are guidelines only. Rates and minimums are subject to change without notice and are determined at the time of reservation depending on availability except where deposits have been received.
At time of check in, sufficient credit credentials must be provided through the authorization of a $300.00 fee as a credit hold for damages.
Resort Policies, Terms and Conditions
Check In:
Check in starts at 4pm. Early arrivals are welcome to store bags at the office and use hotel amenities until your room is ready. Minimum check in age is 21. Bring proper identification. Front Desk is open daily from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, all arrivals must be checked in by 6:00 pm. Late arrivals must make arrangements in advance. Please note office is CLOSED from 6:00 pm to 9:30 am.
Check Out:
Check out is at 11am. All unapproved late check outs are subject to an additional $50.00 fee.
Unaccompanied Minors:
You must be over 21 years of age to make a reservation. Children under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We are not responsible for the supervision of minors. Proper identification will be required for check in.
Room Requests:
We will make our best effort to accommodate individual room requests, however, The Montauk Soundview reserves the right to substitute room locations at its discretion.
Damages:
Please inspect your room on checking in. Any damage or lost hotel property items caused by you or persons in your party, will be charged to your credit card on file.
Housekeeping:
Full Housekeeping is performed prior to check-in. Guests will be responsible for the cleaning of any dishes and cookware used during their stay. Housekeeping is available for trash removal, towels, and bathroom sundries.
Quiet Hours Policy:
For the comfort and convenience of all guests, the resort has quiet time hours between the hours of 11 pm and 9 am.
Pet Policy:
Sorry, no pets allowed.
Day Guests:
Only Registered guests are permitted.
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed inside the hotel rooms or interior common areas. Guests smoking inside the rooms will be charged an extra night’s fee while we return the room to a non-smoking status.
Parking:
Parking on site is for registered guests only.
Pool Policies
- Pool Open daily May to September.
- Use of pool is permitted during posted hours only.
- Pool towels are provided upon request at the front office.
- Swim at your own risk. There are NO LIFEGUARDS present at any time.
- Never swim alone. A minimum of two adults, 18 years of age or older must be present whenever the pool is in use.
- Adequate supervision is required. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is responsible for the children, their behavior, and their safety.
- No glass is permitted in the pool area.
- Suffolk County Health Department code allows ONLY confirmed registered overnight guests access to and use of the pool.
- We are not responsible for personal injury.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen property.
- In case of an emergency call 911 and contact the office manager on duty.
Privacy Policy
INFORMATION COLLECTED ON THIS SITE OR RELATED RESERVATION SITES MAY BE USED TO: Register you as a guest at the hotel as you plan and reserve a room for your stay. We may or may not send to you marketing communications from time to time.
